Role Overview: As a Team Leader, you will play a crucial role in providing leadership and support within our children's residential service. You will take on additional responsibilities, including supervising residential support workers and mentoring new staff members, as you continue to develop and grow in your role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and mentor residential support workers, fostering a collaborative and supportive team environment.
  • Provide guidance and support to ensure the effective implementation of individual programs for young people.
  • Facilitate teaching, learning, social activities, and independence experiences to enhance the development of our young residents.
  • Act as a positive role model, providing effective supervision and guidance to your team.
  • Contribute to the performance and professional development of your team members.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar role within a children's residential service, ideally working with young people with EBD.
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire your team.
  • Knowledge of relevant regulations and guidelines governing children's residential care.
  • Passion for supporting the growth and development of young people.
  • NVQ Level 3 in Childcare
  • Driver
