Senior Healthcare Assistant
Duties:
- Assist healthcare professionals in providing patient care and support
- Perform basic medical procedures under the supervision of healthcare professionals
- Take and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse
- Assist with patient hygiene, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Help patients with mobility and transfers
- Collect and label specimens for laboratory testing
- Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals
- Maintain a clean and organized patient environment
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a certified healthcare assistant program preferred
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Compassionate and caring attitude towards patients
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
